• Hoosier cabinets were made primarily in Indiana (hence the name) by several companies, including The Hoosier Mfg. Co. of New Castle, Indiana, Sellers, McDougall, Napanee, Wilson, Boone, and others.
• Hoosier cabinets were popular in the early 20th Century when most homes did not have built-in kitchen cabinets.
